The CWS State of California Integrated Waste Management Board (CIWMB) and CalRecycle permitted recycling facility is open to the public every day of the year - except on six major holidays. The facility does not close due to inclement weather.

The facility disposal rates are as follows - effective January 1, 2024.

The CWS waste transfer facility is conveniently located at the center of four major freeways directly adjacent to the 110 freeway in Gardena.

Mixed Inert or "source separated" Inert waste (inert is defined as non-organic) may be delivered from any location in a vehicle of any size.

Inert materials include: dirt, concrete, asphalt, sand, rock, brick, block, ceramic tile, clay tile, glass and stucco (no wire mesh).

Contamination of the load is limited to 10 percent. "Contamination" is trash, plastic, wood, roots and grass or any other organic material.

Mixed Inert:	$80.00 per ton (one ton minimum charge)	The material may include brick, block, sand, tile, concrete, dirt, etc.
Clean Concrete:	$55.00 per ton (one ton minimum charge)	The material size must be 2 feet by 2 feet or smaller, with any rebar or mesh cut within 1 inch of material.
Clean Dirt/Sand:	$75.00 per ton (one ton minimum charge)	The material may not include roots, grass, organics, or trash.
Clean Asphalt:	$55.00 per ton (one ton minimum charge)	The material may not include concrete, dirt, or trash.
Bobtail and 10-yard Trucks	$385.00 for the first 10 tons (after 10 tons, $38.50 per pro-rated ton)	The material may include brick, block, sand, tile, concrete, dirt, etc.

Environmental and fuel surcharges are not included in rates. All taxes are included.
